Retrieving a Backup File

Although we would like to think that computers (and software) never crash, it happens. So it’s good to know how to recover the most recent good file.
Every time one opens or saves the schedule file, a backup of the file in its original state is saved to a folder called “backups” in the same directory as your schedule file is located. Something like this::
Inside that folder, you should see another folder named after the file you’re working on.
and inside that folder should be up to 15 backups of the file you’ve been working on with the dates and times embedded in the names of the file. Sort them by date and take the most recent one that is not 1K in size and you should be back to where you were when you last opened the file.
Keywords: crash, crashes, backups, backup file, error, crashed, backup files
